Personal AI agents. Self-hosted, minus the setup.

Your agents.
Your machines.
Nobody else’s cloud.

Cutity runs always-on AI agents on hardware you already own — the Mac mini in the closet, a mini PC, your own cloud VM, the lab server — pooled into one private fleet you command from your phone. No terminal. No config files.

Your devices. Your data.
Why Cutity

The new agent apps rent you a computer in their data center. Cutity puts the agent on yours.

Always-on agents need a machine, your logins and your files. Hosted agent apps keep all three on a VM they run. Open-source self-hosting keeps them home — after an afternoon of Node, Docker and firewall rules. Cutity gives you the second without the afternoon.

Hosted agent apps

A VM in the vendor’s cloud. Your inbox, browser sessions and files live on their machine, under their retention policy. Your subscription tier decides how much compute you get.

DIY open-source

Full control, if you’re at home with package managers, containers, reverse proxies and binding ports to localhost — and with patching your own instance every time a new hole turns up.

Cutity

Your hardware, set up from your phone in minutes. Every machine you own joins one private pool, and agents run where they fit best. Secure defaults, automatic updates, no terminal.

Freedom of hardware

One pool out of every machine you own.

Cutity places each agent where it runs best: GPU work on the GPU box, all-night routines on the always-on mini, browser tasks wherever there’s headroom.

Mac mini

Quiet, frugal, always on. The natural home for routines, inbox work and Apple-native automations.

ALWAYS-ON ROUTINES

Lab or GPU server

Run open-weight models locally so prompts never touch a third-party API. Heavy research jobs land here.

LOCAL MODELS · HEAVY JOBS

Mini PC

A low-power x86 box under the TV is all a home-ops agent needs: backups, smart-home rules, price watches.

HOME OPS

Your own cloud VM

Already rent a VPS? Add it. It’s your account and your keys, so you get a public IP and burst capacity without handing your data to another vendor.

BURST · PUBLIC ENDPOINTS

The old laptop

Retired, not useless. Leave the lid shut, keep it plugged in, and it handles browser tasks and overflow.

BROWSER TASKS · OVERFLOW

Anything else

Windows desktops, Linux workstations and ARM single-board computers. If it runs a modern OS, it can join the pool.

How it works

From a closet Mac mini to a working agent in three steps.

01

Install Cutity Node

One download on each machine. It picks secure defaults, runs agents in sandboxes and keeps itself updated. There’s nothing to configure.

02

Scan to pool it

Point your phone at the pairing code. The device joins your pool over an end-to-end encrypted link, with no port forwarding and no public exposure.

Delegate from anywhere

Message an agent like a colleague. It works while you’re away, asks before anything consequential, and reports back in the app.

Done — brief is in your Files. Two sources disagreed on pricing; I flagged both.
The app

Your fleet, in your pocket.

Native apps for iPhone and Android, each built to its platform’s own design language. Talk to agents, approve actions, watch every device.

Privacy by architecture

Your agents know a lot about you. That knowledge should live on your hardware.

Privacy here isn’t a policy you have to trust. Your agents’ memory, files and logins sit on drives you can unplug.

End-to-end encrypted relay
Phone and devices talk through a relay that only ever sees ciphertext. Keys are generated and kept on your devices.
Secrets stay in your vault
Passwords and tokens are stored in each device’s secure enclave and are filled in at the moment of use. The model never sees them.
Bring any model
Run open-weight models on your own GPU with Ollama, llama.cpp or MLX, or plug in API keys you own. You can mix both per agent.
You set the rules
Allow, block or require approval per action. Sending, paying and deleting ask you first by default.
An audit trail on your disk
Every step an agent takes is logged locally, with screenshots, and kept for as long as you decide. Delete means deleted.

Put the computers you already own to work.
